What we do
Once you've submitted your information to MissionFish, we will...
- Vet your organization
We verify that every MissionFish nonprofit is entitled to benefit from eBay Giving Works listings, by ensuring that they: are a nonprofit in good standing with the IRS, meet our community standards by not: promoting violence, hate or illegal activities OR appearing on national and international lists of terrorist organizations.
- Set you up to receive electronic payments
We need the voided check to verify your bank account information for paying out donations via EFT. Without this we can't deliver your donations! We also require this information to prevent fraud by someone diverting donations intended for your nonprofit. We will not make any charges to nonprofit accounts via EFT.
- Create your nonprofit homepage
This is your page on MissionFish! It includes your organization's name, mission statement and logo that you provide to us, and will display all items on eBay that are benefiting your organization (see a sample).
- Add your organization to our list of benefiting nonprofits
eBay sellers can search for your organization in this list by mission area, geographic location, name and keywords.
